The fine art of seascape is alive and well in Wayne, NJ as forty young artists descended upon the Creators Workshop art school to learn the art of painting the sea. Working in acrylic paints, the aspiring artists learned mixing colors, brushstrokes, and how we see colors in nature. Besides putting their talent to work, the students share their kindness by donating a mountain of cat and dog food to be donated to FOWA,the Friends of Wayne Animals. Now in their ninth year, the Creators Workshop art school frequently presents the free workshops in painting, drawing, and cartooning as a way of promoting the school while raising the needed food for homeless pets. Special thanks to Jane and Nicole for making me look so good!
