Draw the Wild Things!

wtwtaIf you’re a fan of “Where the Wild Things Are”, then the Creators Workshop is the place to be on Oct. 8th, & 10th. The Creators Workshop art school is proud to present  this fun filled drawing workshop where we’ll celebrate the art and life of Maurice Sendak and his classic children’s book, “Where the Wild Things Are”. A live-action movie version is scheduled to be released on October 16, 2009
Participants will learn to; draw Max and his furry friends, learn Sendak’s unique drawing style, and then create “Wild Things” from their own imagination.
There are two dates available; Thursday, Oct. 8th 4-5 pm, or Saturday, Oct. 10th, 2-3 pm.
Recommended ages are 5- 18. Light refreshments will be served

September is here and we hope everyone had a fun and relaxing Summer. As the Creators Workshop Art School enters its 8th season, we look forward to bringing our students to a new level in their artistic education and pursuits.
Our Fall schedule begins on Tuesday September 8, 2009. As mentioned in previous posts, we’re proud to add watercolor and sculpting classes to our line-up along with our drawing, painting, and cartooning classes.
